Supporting students
At Progress Schools we support our students in making positive decisions about their future and focus on Individual career aspirations.
We produce a tailor made education package to suit each of our students to build self-esteem and confidence and equip them with the necessary skills to achieve within their chosen career path.
Students will have the opportunity to:
- Consider their own qualities, skills, interests and academic potential
- Participate in work related activity e.g. mock interviews, role play
- Take part in a work experience placement suited to their chosen career path or a taster from various settings
- Study and achieve qualifications suited to their career preferences
- Meet weekly with a Connexions advisor to receive education and careers advice and guidance
- Gain knowledge of options available locally and apply for; College, Traineeships, Apprenticeships or Employment (RPA Compliant)
