#HelloYellow Campaign for World Mental Health Day

Our schools launched their first fundraising drive of the year on Wednesday 10th October 2018;
World Mental Health Day.

Young Minds were promoting a #HelloYellow campaign whereby people were encouraged to attend work or school wearing an item of yellow clothing. Our schools got behind the campaign and not only wore yellow, but baked cakes with a yellow theme and created some stunning displays around the theme of mental health awareness.

Furthermore, Progress Schools wanted to support Young Minds in a way that would raise awareness and also give our students the chance to express what mental health means to them, whether it be an experience that they have been
through or to give an empowering message of support for those who may be suffering.

So we set about challenging our staff and students to write a message on a Young Minds poster, before displaying it to camera. We then created a video in support of #HelloYellow and launched it across our social media platforms on World Mental Health Day, Go check it out!

So far we have raised just over £500 so we are half way to reaching our target Please help us reach our target of £1000 by donating via our Just Giving Page.
